About Adam Berardi, Wellness Coach & Counseling Candidate

My coaching approach is steady, direct, and practical.
The focus isn’t on analysis.
It’s on structured, sustainable growth.
Sessions are collaborative and focused.
We look at what’s happening in real time — where things stall, where patterns repeat, where follow-through breaks down.
From there, the work becomes applied:
Clarifying your vision and direction.
Identifying core priorities.
Recognizing strengths and assets.
Defining clear, measurable goals.
Building consistency.
Strengthening decision-making.
Creating systems that support execution outside the session.
Instead of just talking about change, the work centers on creating it.
Goals don’t remain wishes or ideas – they are broken down into actionable steps supported by a structured framework that connects long-term direction with daily execution.
The process blends planning with follow-through – so progress becomes visible, repeatable, and real.
Background
Adam spent nearly two decades in emergency medicine and rescue – as a paramedic, firefighter, ski patrol captain, technical rope rescue technician, and swift water rescue technician.
In those environments, clarity and decision-making under pressure weren’t optional.
They were required.
That experience shows up in how he works:
Steady when things feel chaotic,
Focused when things feel unclear, practical when change needs to happen in real life – not just in theory.
Adam is a Certified Life Coach and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, summa cum laude, from Lewis-Clark State College, where he received the Outstanding Psychology Graduate award.
He received the Undergraduate Research Award from the Rocky Mountain Psychological Association for his peer-reviewed research in cognitive psychology.
He has been accepted into a Master’s program in Clinical Counseling and holds degrees in Paramedic Science and Culinary Arts as well.
Adam has been a lifelong athlete.
A state all-star soccer player and national kickboxing competitor in his youth, Adam has understood athletic discipline and performance under pressure from an early age – a thread that runs through everything from his years in emergency medicine to his work with athletes and high-performers today.
Areas of Focus
Life direction and transitions – career clarity, identity shifts, burnout, and periods of change.
Attention and execution – ADHD, focus, follow-through, and functioning under competing demands.
Relationships and family systems – communication, parenting, separation, divorce, and relational strain.
Adolescents and young men – development, adjustment, and transitions related to identity and direction.
Health and athletic performance – fitness, physical capacity, and mental strategies to optimize performance at any level.
How Change Takes Hold
Not all at once.
But through consistency.
You define what matters.
You commit to clear goals.
You follow through where you used to stall.
Over time, momentum becomes more stable.
Things feel less scattered.
More directed.
More within your control.
You move from intention to execution.
From ideas to follow-through.
From effort to outcomes.
Not just thinking differently.
Functioning differently.
